Projects

While I've been working at Indigo Slate I had the pleasure of working on this project with a talented team. This experience is a full page vertical snap scroll with animated transitions. The client wanted each chapter to be its own page but feel like a fluid experience so I built it in a way that you can scroll to the next or previous route without feeling like you have gone to a new page.

Talented Team: Keyomi Toston (PM), Gregory Smith (Creative Director), Alec Whitmore (Designer), Ben Sampson (Copy), Emily Payne (Marketing Strategist)

Ryde was made with a couple users in mind, commuters and travers. We wanted to create an app that would help people find others near them that also work near each other so they could carpool and cut commuting costs. We also thought it would be useful for people maybe traveling to nearby cities or possibly even a day trip to the mountains to go skiing. They are able to split the costs of the trip & hopefully make a friend along the way!

This was a group project I worked on with classmates:
Brett Spencer, Scott Rosehart, and Brant Porter.

Froyo Feedback

An admin of white cap froyo will log in to list out the flavors that are rotated through. Customers can sign up and create a profile and select their favorite flavors. The admin panel will show the stats from the customers selections letting them gather feedback.

Two player game, switching turns to see who can rack up the highest score. When you reach a couple different scores, there will be barriers added to the baord to make it more challenging. You can turn on continuous borders if you would link the game to not be ended by hitting the edge. You can change the size & speed of the snake.

Junction Flats located in West Seattle is my biggest solo project, that I’m very proud of. I did both the branding for the building along with a customized WordPress install making it easy for them to keep listings up to date. The logo has a bit of history connected to it. It is an illustration of the Alaska Street Junction tracks that were located a block away from the building is now. The font and the colors were chosen to give it a classy and aged feel to go along with the history in the name & logo.

I created this website for my family’s frozen yogurt shop. It was an amazing experience to create a business with my family. I was able to contribute to the branding, interior design, graphics and this website. When I build this site I tried to figure out how to draw traffic. I added the current yogurt flavors to the footer, by people coming to our site to check those frequently, I was able to drive a good amount of traffic. I was going for a simple and inviting design. I wanted to just get the information on the site that was necessary. I was also going for that family friendly ice cream shop kind of look, only in this case it’s a yogurt shop.
